How to enable or disable cookies

Internet Explorer

Go to the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and click on the “Privacy” tab. Use the cursor to select the level you require. For more control options, select the Advanced button, you will then be able to choose your cookies preferences. Then click “OK” to save your changes.

Mozilla Firefox

Click the “Tools” menu at the top of the browser and select “Options”. Choose the Privacy tab, and make your selection from the drop-down menu that begins “Settings”. Select “Use custom settings for history”. If “Accept cookies from sites” is ticked, it will accept cookies from all sites, if you want to choose which sites to allow cookies for, untick this first.
To confirm the new settings, select “OK.”

Google Chrome

Click the “Customize and control Google Chrome” icon at the top right of the navigation bar. Select “Settings”, scroll down and click on “Show advanced settings”. In the privacy section, select the “Content Settings” button. Now, choose your cookies preferences.


At the top of your browser window, click on the Safari icon and choose Preferences. Click the icon labelled Privacy. Choose your cookies preferences.
